Welcome to I Told You So!

Did you miss us? I Told You So is the new format for (as always!) questionably canon content featuring the Heart of the Woods girls. In addition to minute totally redoing the artwork and adirosa creating a new logo and textbox, we have two new scenes for you to play written by Rachel! The first, "Stay Spooky, Maddie", features the end of Tara and Maddie's final broadcast together. Yes, yes, it's really sweet!

The second is the namesake of the new game: "I Told You So!", featuring Tara's very first broadcast with her new co-host... Morgan!

Alongside these two episodes, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the absolutely amazing new tunes in the game. Sarah Mancuso, the composer of the Snowfall side of the Heart of the Woods soundtrack, made us some incredible 8-bit remixes of a couple songs from the original game. If you like them, let her know! We're just pleased as punch.

PS: We created an APK for the first time. It should work the same as the PC and Mac versions, but if you run into any issues, let us know! We hope we can keep providing additional ways for people to play our games.

Regarding mods:

We tried to make modding the game as easy as possible. Take a look at the .rpy files in the episodes folder and follow the same format for creating your own custom scenes: they'll be added to the episode select at the start.

That said, please don't be a jerk about it, y'know? All the in-game art (sprites/background/effects) and code was created by minute, and the Halloween 2018 special features a lot of art from other artists. These assets are for use within ITYS and any mods only - You can not put them into other projects.

If you'd like us to make more moddable content, be polite with these assets but also, please let us know if this is something that interests you!
